Design Approach

The layout centers on an expansive, column-free display floor that allows multiple vehicles to be showcased simultaneously without feeling cramped. Full-height glass storefronts flood the space with natural daylight, echoing the clean, minimal aesthetic that automotive brands increasingly favor to let the vehicles themselves take center stage. We used a restrained material palette — polished concrete-style flooring, warm timber wall panels, and soft white ceilings with integrated linear lighting — to create a neutral backdrop that photographs well and keeps visual focus on the cars rather than competing decor.

A dedicated customer lounge area features designer seating in warm terracotta and cream tones, offering a comfortable space for clients to sit with sales consultants during the purchase process. Large-format branded media walls display Roewe’s model range and lifestyle imagery, reinforcing brand identity throughout the customer journey without cluttering the showroom floor.

Reception counters were designed with a mix of stone-textured cladding and warm wood accents, similar to the joinery detailing featured in our joinery services work, positioned to greet customers immediately upon entry while maintaining an unobstructed view of the vehicles beyond.

Lighting played a central role in the technical execution. Recessed linear fixtures run the length of the ceiling, providing even, shadow-free illumination across the display floor — essential for showcasing vehicle finishes accurately, a detail that matters enormously in automotive retail where paint quality and detailing are part of the sale.
